Description
La Maison du Whisky has been Paris's leading whisky house since 1956, a retailer and bottler with deep ties to Scotland and Japan. Distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2006, this 19 year old Laphroaig followed.
From ex-Bourbon, nineteen years draw out the brine-soaked peat smoke.
Bottled at cask strength, 53.4%, the ex-Bourbon brings vanilla and soft oak. Brine, tar and a smoky medicinal depth carry it.
