Description

Sestante was one of the pioneering Italian independents, collected for the vintage Islay casks it bottled in the 1980s. Filled in 1969 and bottled 1988, the whisky is a 19 year old Laphroaig., part of the Ship label - Screw cap series.

Nineteen years of ex-Bourbon soften the medicinal Islay spirit.

Bottled at 40%, with sweet vanilla from the ex-Bourbon cask. The profile runs to fresh fruit, chocolate, citrus, a hay-like note, honey, a leafy lift.
