Description
Sestante was one of the pioneering Italian independents, collected for the vintage Islay casks it bottled in the 1980s. This 19 year old Laphroaig was distilled in 1969 and bottled in 1988. in the Ship Label - Cork Stopper range.
Nineteen years in ex-Bourbon frame its peaty, maritime character.
Bottled at cask strength, 51.9%, vanilla rises from the bourbon wood. It carries a cooked-vegetable note.
