Atom Brands, the group behind Master of Malt and That Boutique-y Whisky Company is an independent bottler. This 18 year old Laphroaig comes from cask 11688 02 in the Darkness range.

It spent eighteen years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round peat heavy with tar and brine.

Bottled at cask strength, 51.5%, sweet vanilla from the ex-Bourbon cask. It carries dried fruit, chocolate, honey, leather, a toasted note, tobacco.
