Duncan Taylor has traded and bottled Scotch since 1938, latterly from Aberdeenshire. The cask was filled in 2004 and bottled in 2020, a 16 year old Laphroaig, from cask 563469. in the Dimensions range.
Sixteen years in ex-Bourbon let the oak work Laphroaig's heavily peated, medicinal spirit.
At its natural 55.7%, vanilla from years in the bourbon barrel. The profile runs to chocolate.
