Description
The Whisky Fair is a German independent tied to the Limburg whisky festival. This bottling is a 16 year old Laphroaig, laid down in 1998 and drawn off in 2015.
Sixteen years in Oloroso draw the cask's fruit into the iodine-rich spirit.
Bottled at 46%, the sherry cask gives dried fruit and a nutty edge. Smoke, salt and tar, medicinal to the last.
