Description

Anam na h-Alba is an independent bottler. Filled in 1998 and bottled 2014, the whisky is a 16 year old Laphroaig.

It spent sixteen years in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso, enough to mellow its medicinal south-Islay peat.

At 51.2%, undiluted, vanilla rises from the bourbon wood. The peat is oily and phenolic, brine underneath.
