Description
Sestante was one of the pioneering Italian independents, collected for the vintage Islay casks it bottled in the 1980s. This bottling is a 16 year old Laphroaig, laid down in 1968 and drawn off in 1984. in the Ship label - Screw cap range.
From ex-Bourbon, sixteen years draw out the distillery's medicinal, briny peat.
Bottled at 40%, with vanilla from years in the bourbon barrel. Peat, iodine and a maritime salinity hold the palate.
