Description

Founded in 1938, Duncan Taylor moved to Huntly and built a name on old and closed-distillery casks. The cask was filled in 1997 and bottled in 2012, a 15 year old Laphroaig, from cask 564201., from the Dimensions range.

A bourbon barrel and fifteen years settle peat heavy with tar and brine.

At 52.4%, undiluted, vanilla rises from the bourbon wood. A big medicinal peat, iodine and ash through the finish.
