Malts of Scotland is a German house that bottles single casks without colour or chill filtration. Filled in 2006 and bottled 2019, the whisky is a 13 year old Laphroaig, from cask MoS 19001. in The Warehouse Dram No. 24 range.

Held in Oloroso for thirteen years, the cask steeps its heavy peat-reek in dried fruit.

Bottled undiluted at 47.5%, the Oloroso adds figgy sweetness and walnut. On the palate, a cooked-mash note, fresh fruit, a kippery edge, smoke.
