High Spirits' Collection is an independent bottler. Filled in 1996 and bottled 2009, the whisky is a 13 year old Laphroaig.

It spent thirteen years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round the tarry, iodine-laced spirit.

Bottled at 46%, the American oak gives a vanilla lift. It carries a leafy lift.
