Description

Sestante was one of the pioneering Italian independents, collected for the vintage Islay casks it bottled in the 1980s. Filled in 1973 and bottled 1986, the whisky is a 13 year old Laphroaig. in the Ship Label - Cork Stopper range.

A bourbon barrel and thirteen years settle Laphroaig's coastal, medicinal character.

At 40%, with vanilla and coconut from the bourbon oak. The medicinal smoke is unmistakable, brine and tar behind it.
