Description
Dràm Mòr is the Dumbarton independent run by Viktorija and Kenny Macdonald, a young label with a sharp eye for casks. This 11 year old Laphroaig, from cask 26976, was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024. in the 5th Birthday Special Release range.
It spent eleven years in ex-Bourbon, long enough to round its phenolic, medicinal smoke.
At its natural 53.8%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla. The peat reads medicinal and oily, iodine cutting through.
