Moon-Import was founded in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino and ranks among Italy's most revered independents, famous for themed series like The Birds. The cask was filled in 1990 and bottled in 2000, a 10 year old Laphroaig, from cask 11685., from the In the Pink range.
An ex-Bourbon cask and ten years shape the medicinal Islay spirit.
At 46%, the bourbon oak lends vanilla. Smoke, salt and tar, medicinal to the last.
