This 14 Years Old was Lagavulin's bottling for the Islay Jazz Festival in 2022, a cask strength release of 3,000 bottles given a brandy cask influence. Founded in 1816, Lagavulin sits among the famous trio of southern Islay distilleries.
The spirit is heavily peated and distilled at a deliberate, slow pace. Matured in American oak with a brandy cask influence, the wine wood adds a grape-led sweetness to the smoke.
