La Liqueur de Monin Cherry Brandy

La Liqueur de Monin Cherry Brandy is a cherry fruit liqueur from Monin, the French house from Bourges that supplies the bar trade. It joins the flavour of ripe cherries to the depth of brandy at 24% in the 700ml bottle, the cherry and stone fruit carried in the traditional macerated style with a brandy edge for structure and a little warmth.

The nose shows ripe sweet cherry with a hint of almond and gentle wood, the palate fruity and full with a dominant cherry sweetness, soft brandy and a fine stone fruit note, the finish round and medium long. Behind the bar it brings cherry sweetness and body with a touch of warmth, the reason it carries a Singapore Sling, a Blood Cherry Sour or a Cherry Manhattan. It also refines chocolate desserts and fruit sauces, and a measure deepens a dark stirred drink.
