La Favorite is a heritage Martinique distillery working under the island's protected AOC, made only from fresh pressed sugar cane juice with no added sugar. This Cuvee carries a 1993 vintage, placing it among the house's longer matured agricole releases.
Distilled on a column still and aged in oak, an older Martinique vieux like this should show the depth that comes with years, the grassy cane core softening into vanilla, baking spice, cocoa and toasted oak. Bottled at 40%, it sits firmly in the dry, structured French island tradition rather than the sweet molasses camp.
