Description
La Favorite Millesime 2018 comes from one of the last independent family distilleries within Fort-de-France in Martinique. Made under the AOC from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice, it carries a single 2018 harvest aged seven years in ex-bourbon casks.
Bottled at 46%, this is a properly aged Martinique agricole, and tropical maturation lends it depth beyond its years. Expect the grassy, cane-driven core of the house deepened by vanilla, toasted oak, cocoa and baking spice, dry and spice-forward rather than sweet. A rum built for slow, neat sipping.
