Description
This rose Prosecco DOC is the Kylie Minogue label's best known wine, made in the Veneto from a blend of 85 per cent Glera and 15 per cent Pinot Nero, the Pinot giving colour and red fruit. Rose Prosecco is always a vintage wine and is made by the tank method, with the second fermentation in sealed pressurised tanks to keep the fruit fresh and give a fine, even bead. It is finished in the extra dry range and made in a vegan friendly style.
The wine is a delicate pink with a fine perlage. The nose leads with strawberry and raspberry backed by red currant, lemon and a floral lift. The palate is fresh and elegant, gently off dry, with soft red fruit and a clean, citrus finish. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8 degrees in a tulip glass. It is an easy aperitif and pairs well with lighter poultry dishes, delicate fish and fruit led desserts.
