Krugmann Mannergrippe is a peppermint liqueur from Germany, made by the Krugmann distillery in the Sauerland and bottled at 15%. It is a humorously packaged ice mint liqueur with a cool, refreshing character, the playful presentation matched by a clear, sweet and fresh flavour. The intense peppermint, reminiscent of ice candy, is the whole idea, placing it among the bright party bottles rather than the serious herbal liqueurs.

The nose is fresh and direct with intense peppermint, menthol and a hint of sugar candy, the palate sweet and smooth with a strong minty note, a pleasant coolness and a slightly candy like finish, closing refreshing and short with a clear minty aftertaste and a cooling effect. Behind the bar it brings sweet mint flavour, a cooling lift and an easy drinkability, which makes it a natural ice cold shot and a fresh note in a minty long drink. It is best served ice cold straight from the bottle or in small glasses. Serve it very cold to show the cool mint.
