Description
This is the Warehouse edition, the fourth and last in anCnoc's Peter Arkle series, with packaging by the New York-based Scottish illustrator. Bottled in 2013, an outturn of 6,000 bottles. Knockdhu distillery, near Huntly in Banffshire, is named anCnoc since Knockando was too close a name.
Production resumed under Inver House in 1989. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the wood gives a clean vanilla sweetness to the bright spirit.
Bottled at 46%. Vanillin from the ex-Bourbon reads as vanilla, oak lactones as coconut. Expect citrus, fresh fruit and new wood. The final illustrated limited-edition anCnoc.
