This 2007 single cask is a 15 year old anCnoc from the Single Cask Series, drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 632 and bottled in 2023 for Germany, an outturn of 204 bottles. The distillery in the Banffshire countryside renamed its malt anCnoc to set it apart from Knockando.
Quiet for years, the distillery reopened in 1989. Over fifteen years the ex-Bourbon cask deepens the spirit with vanilla and soft oak.
Bottled undiluted at 51.4%. Vanilla and coconut come from the ex-Bourbon's vanillin and oak lactones. The recorded notes run to fresh fruit and honey. A full-strength single-cask anCnoc.
