Description
This 1975 single cask is a 26 year old anCnoc, a Highland Selection Limited Edition drawn from ex-Bourbon cask 214 and bottled in 2001 for Germany. A rare old single cask from Knockdhu distillery at Knock, in Banffshire, named anCnoc to set it apart from Knockando.
Inver House restarted production in 1989. Matured in a single ex-Bourbon cask across twenty-six years, the wood deepened the malt.
48.2%, at the cask's own strength. The ex-Bourbon gives vanillin for vanilla and oak lactones for coconut, with maltol for toffee over an aged depth. A rare old single-cask vintage anCnoc.
