Duncan Taylor bottled this 11 year old 2012 Knockdhu for its Octave range from cask 11538063, a sibling to its other 2012 octave, an outturn of 91 bottles for Germany. Where the distillery uses anCnoc, independents keep the Knockdhu name; it sits at Knock in Banffshire.
It has run under Inver House since 1989. The small octave cask works quickly on the malt over a final maturation.
Bottled undiluted at 54.6%. The small octave cask deepens the fresh malt over its final months. A sibling Octave-finished single cask.
