The Season is a vintage-dated core Knockando, this distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2014, matured in ex-Bourbon. Knockando, founded in 1898 in Speyside, is the heart of the J&B blend and dates each bottling by distillation year.
Diageo-owned now, Knockando produces a light, fine Speyside spirit. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks, the wood frames the malt cleanly over twelve years.
Bottled at 43%. From the ex-Bourbon come vanilla and coconut, its vanillin and oak lactones, with maltol for toffee. A vintage-dated Season Knockando.
