Description
The Master Reserve 21 Years Old is Knockando's older vintage line, this distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2018 for the Netherlands, with Oloroso alongside the bourbon. Founded in 1898, the Speyside distillery Knockando is the heart of the J&B blend and bottles by vintage.
Knockando, now a Diageo distillery, makes a light and fine Speyside spirit. Matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso casks across twenty-one years, the two woods give vanilla and dried fruit.
Bottled at 43%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanilla, the Oloroso dried fruit, melanoidins reading as fig and raisin, over the soft Speyside malt. An older Master Reserve vintage.
