Knockando Master Reserve 21 Years Old 1984

The Master Reserve 21 Years Old is Knockando's older vintage line, this distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2005 for Germany. Founded in 1898, the Speyside distillery Knockando is the heart of the J&B blend and bottles by vintage.

Now part of Diageo, Knockando makes a light, fine Speyside spirit. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks across twenty-one years, the wood deepened the malt.

Bottled at 43%. The ex-Bourbon lends vanilla through vanillin, coconut through oak lactones, and a toffee note from maltol. The recorded note is a cooked mash edge over the aged malt. An older Master Reserve vintage.
