Description
The Master Reserve 21 Years Old is Knockando's older vintage line, this one distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2000 for France. Knockando, founded in 1898 in Speyside, is the heart of the J&B blend and dates its bottlings by distillation year.
In Diageo hands today, the distillery makes a light, elegant Speyside spirit. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks across twenty-one years, the wood deepened the malt.
Bottled at 43%. The ex-Bourbon gives vanillin for vanilla and oak lactones for coconut, with maltol for toffee over an aged depth. An older Master Reserve vintage.
