Signatory bottled this 15 year old 2010 Knockando for its Cask Strength Collection from Oloroso cask 2, another of the single casks drawn from this vintage. An outturn of 333 bottles. Knockando, founded in 1898 in Speyside, is the heart of the J&B blend.
In Diageo hands today, the distillery makes a light, elegant Speyside spirit. Matured in a single Oloroso cask over fifteen years, the sherry wood pulls the malt towards dried fruit.
Bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.6%. The Oloroso gives dried fruit, melanoidins reading as fig and raisin, with a walnut dryness over the soft Speyside malt. A sherried cask strength single-cask Knockando.
