Kilda Mango is a mango cream liqueur from Spain, made by Teicheneé Liquors and bottled at 17%. Like the rest of the Kilda range it is built on tequila rather than whiskey, blending the agave spirit into a dairy cream emulsion with ripe mango, so it pours creamy and tropical while keeping a clear distilled agave note beneath. That pairing of mango fruit and an agave base is what gives it a place among the more familiar cream liqueurs on a back bar.

The nose is fresh with distilled agave, ripe mango and creamy notes, the palate creamy, sweet and fruity with ripe mango and cream, finishing long. Behind the bar it works as a body and dessert ingredient, lending dairy richness, mango fruit and sweetness in a single pour, which suits a mango colada, a creamy tropical cocktail or a float over vanilla ice cream. Serve it well chilled or over ice to show the texture. As a dairy product it has a finite life once opened, so keep it cold and use it reasonably fresh.
