K-Naia 2025

Bodega Naia is a Rueda specialist, and K-Naia is the youngest and most approachable wine in its range. It comes from La Seca in Valladolid, regarded as a grand cru site of the appellation, and is made from Verdejo with a hint of Sauvignon Blanc that sharpens its aromatic lift. Rueda sits high on the Castilian plateau, where hot days and cold nights and free draining soils hold acidity and aromatic freshness in the fruit, the base of the region's crisp whites. The wine is made in stainless steel to keep it fresh, direct and fruit led, with no oak to blur the grape character. The Sauvignon Blanc adds a citrus and green edge to the Verdejo's stone fruit and herbal profile. The colour is pale lemon. The nose leads with stone fruit of peach and apricot lifted by a light citrus touch of grapefruit and the herbal note typical of Verdejo. The palate is fresh and easy, with green apple, citrus and a gently herbal finish carried by clean acidity. Serve chilled at 8 to 10 degrees. It suits fish, salads and lighter fare, and pours easily as an aperitif.
