Description
Domaine Josmeyer is an Alsace estate that adopted biodynamic viticulture well before it became common, a philosophy now continued by Isabelle and Céline Meyer. Mise du Printemps is their spring release Pinot Blanc, made in a deliberately light, early drinking style. The fruit grows on Alsace's varied soils under a dry, sunny climate sheltered by the Vosges mountains, conditions that give ripe fruit while retaining freshness. The wine rests on its fine lees, which adds a soft, rounded texture and a faint bready note without heavy winemaking, keeping the focus on the grape's gentle character. The colour is pale, bright and almost silvery. The nose is fresh and delicate, with pear, green apple and white flowers over a light dusting of lemon. The palate is dry, light bodied and easy, the orchard fruit carried by clean acidity and a soft, faintly saline finish. This is Pinot Blanc as an everyday white, made with care but built for pleasure rather than ageing. Serve well chilled at 8 to 10 degrees.

Additional information
An easy match for lighter fare: serve it as an aperitif, or with steamed shellfish, grilled white fish and fresh green salads. Its soft texture and clean acidity also handle a quiche or a plate of charcuterie.
