An aperitif liqueur from Italicus, made in Italy by Torino Distillati, reviving the old Italian category of rosolio, a court aperitif of the eighteenth century, around bergamot. The composition combines selected ingredients from northern and southern Italy, with bergamot and a note of olive giving it its Mediterranean signature. At 20% it sits in the light aperitif range, built for spritzes and stirred drinks rather than sipping alone.

The nose is fresh bergamot with floral notes and subtle citrus zest, the palate elegant and balanced with bergamot, light sweetness and subtle herbal notes, finishing fresh and harmonious with lingering citrus clarity. In a drink it adds bright bergamot, citrus lift and a gentle sweetness that balances acidity, so it shines in the Italicus Spritz with Prosecco and a splash of soda, garnished with a green olive or citrus zest, and crosses easily into modern cocktail work as an aromatic citrus component. Its floral bergamot tone gives a back bar a distinctive aperitivo option. Serve chilled.
