Description
James MacArthur has been a familiar independent name since the 1980s, bottling single casks at natural strength. This 10 year old Laphroaig, from cask 3200, was distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2002. in the Old Master's - Cask Strength Selection.
Ten years in the bourbon cask lend vanilla to its medicinal south-Islay peat.
At 59.9%, undiluted, with vanilla and coconut from the bourbon oak. Phenols, brine and a long smoky finish.
