The Buena Vista is an Irish whiskey blend made by Irish Distillers at Midleton in Co. Cork for the Buena Vista Café in San Francisco, the bar credited with bringing Irish coffee to the United States. It is a blend of pot still and grain whiskey, bottled at 40% for the American market, built to suit both a glass and a coffee.

Matured in ex-bourbon American oak, the whiskey leans on soft toffee, banana and coconut from the grain, with pot still adding orchard fruit, honey and a light spice. Triple distilled in the Midleton house style, it is smooth and gently sweet, unpeated and easy, a blend shaped for the café that gave it its name. Every part is drawn from the Midleton stills, with no wider distillery pedigree claimed.
