Inicio Tequila Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila whose bottle carries a bison, a Spanish bisonte chosen by the brand as a symbol of abundance. It sits as a measured balance between agave character and oak, the rested middle ground between the brand's unaged and longer-aged expressions.

What sets the line apart is the cask. Rather than the common ex-bourbon barrel, this reposado matures nine months in French oak that previously held red wine, which the producer credits for the slightly oily, sweet-fruited character that runs through the range. Aromas lead with fruity agave, fine barrique notes from the short maturation and a light sweetness, while the palate is sweetly fruity with gentle wood. Bottled at 40%, it keeps the fruit accent lighter than the brand's añejo, which spends close to two years in the same style of cask.
