Murray McDavid's prestige Mission Gold range carries this Inchmurrin, Loch Lomond's floral island malt from the straight-neck Lomond stills, a 26 year old from 1998 finished in Pinot Noir.
Twenty-six years and a Pinot Noir finish lend red-berry fruit over the mature floral spirit, the angel's share having eased the cask over the decades.
At 50.3% it shows mature Inchmurrin fruit with the wine's berry edge, undiluted. A mature wine-finished Inchmurrin.
