Description
Ian Macleod Distillers, owner of Glengoyne and Tamdhu, bottles this Inchmurrin in its Chieftain's range. Loch Lomond's floral island malt, a 17 year old from 1998 drawn from casks 1985 and 1986.
Seventeen years in ex-Bourbon mellow the floral spirit, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla.
At 46% it shows mature orchard fruit over soft vanilla. A Chieftain's Inchmurrin.
