This Inchmurrin 18 is a mature bottling of Loch Lomond's floral island malt, the straight-neck-still fruit given eighteen years. A light spirit grown rounder with age.
Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon build depth, the low-tannin oak lending vanilla while oxidation draws the fruit toward dried notes.
At 46% it shows dried and fresh fruit, honey and a malty note with a wisp of smoke, the Inchmurrin character matured. A mature island malt.
