That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles this Inchfad as Batch 1, Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a 13 year old, an unusually large outturn of 2,473 bottles.
Thirteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the bold peat, the gentle American oak adding vanilla under the smoke.
At 49.5% it shows a coal-gas edge, fresh fruit, honey, a malty note and vanilla over the wood smoke, smoke phenols and guaiacol to the fore. A peated Boutique-y Inchfad.
