Description
From Claxton's Exploration Series, this Inchfad is Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a 6 year old from 2017 in Pedro Ximenez.
Six years in PX load the peat with raisiny sweetness, the cask's melanoidins giving date over the smoke.
At 50% it shows dried and fresh fruit and an oily texture over the wood smoke, the PX sweetness against the reek. A PX peated Inchfad.
