From North Star Spirits' Cask Series, this Inchfad is Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a mature 18 year old from 2007 in Oloroso.
Eighteen years in Oloroso lend dried fruit over the peat, the cask's melanoidins giving fig and raisin against the smoke.
At 51.1% the sherried fruit plays against a softened wood smoke, guaiacol and tarry phenols behind the reek. A sherried mature Inchfad.
