Description
From C. Dully Selection of Switzerland, this Inchfad is Loch Lomond's heavily peated island malt, a 14 year old from 2005 drawn from casks 408, 411 and 412.
Fourteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the bold peat, the cask's vanilla softening the peat beneath.
At 57.1% it shows fresh fruit, citrus, an oily texture, dried fruit and vanilla over the wood smoke, the kiln phenols carrying the reek. A peated Inchfad.
