Juniper sits front and centre here, lifted by bright lemon and a wash of Mediterranean herbs before a gentle peppery warmth settles in. Distilled in small batches in Italy, it keeps its 40% strength round and unhurried rather than sharp. Clean, lively and quietly confident, the sort of pour that suits an evening with no hurry to it.

Description
Impavid comes out of Italy, built around the idea that a gin should taste of where it's from. Rather than leaning on a neutral grain base alone, the makers compose a botanical bill that nods to the Mediterranean larder, then run it in small batches so each note keeps its outline. The bottle arrives in a presentation box, which makes it as much a gift for a collector as a working spirit for the back bar.
The nose is juniper-forward and fresh, with citrus oils and a green herbal lift behind it. On the palate it stays smooth and balanced, lemon and soft herbs threaded through a pine-clean juniper spine, finishing with an elegant flick of spice and a long, clean fade. Pour it over plenty of ice with a good tonic and a twist of lemon zest, or let it anchor a Negroni.
