Homenaje Rosado 2025

Homenaje Rosado is a single-varietal Garnacha from Marco Real, a Navarra winery founded in 1989 and part of the Familia Belasco group. Navarra has an unusual position, caught between Atlantic, continental and Mediterranean influences, with the Cantabrian Sea, the Pyrenees and the Ebro Valley all shaping the climate. That meeting of cool and warm air gives the rosados ripe red fruit with the acidity to stay fresh. The fruit comes from 200 hectares of estate vineyards around Olite and neighbouring towns, where Garnacha is the traditional rosado grape of the region. A short maceration on the skins sets the pale colour before the must is run off and fermented cool to protect the delicate aromatics. The wine is pale pink, the source likening it to freshly bloomed petals, with aromas of strawberry, white peach and cherry over a floral lift. The palate is dry and fresh, with juicy red fruit, bright acidity and a clean, easygoing finish. Serve well chilled at 8 to 10 degrees.
