Hibiki Japanese Harmony was first released in 2015 as a non-age statement whisky under Suntory’s Hibiki brand. This expression was created to embody the essence of the Hibiki range while making it more accessible to a broader audience. Drawing from a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries, it uses five different types of casks, including American oak, sherry, and Mizunara oak, to deliver a smooth and harmonious whisky. The release was part of Suntory’s effort to adapt to growing global demand for Japanese whisky while maintaining the high standards of quality that the Hibiki line is known for.
