Hibiki 17 Years Old (Suntory Whisky)

Hibiki 17 Years Old is a three-distillery Suntory blend drawing on aged malt from the Yamazaki distillery in Osaka Prefecture and the Hakushu distillery in Yamanashi Prefecture, married with 17-year grain spirit from Chita in Aichi Prefecture. This bottling was released in 2020 for the Dutch market, where Hibiki's aged expressions have maintained a steady following.

Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks, the 17-year age statement brings greater structure and integration than the NAS Harmony: honey and dried stone fruit deepen toward dried apricot and subtle spice, the Hakushu component adds a quiet herbal freshness, and the Chita grain gives length and smoothness. At 43%, it is polished and well-resolved, a classic statement of Suntory's multi-site blending at a mature age.
