Hernö London Dry Gin

Hernö Gin is distilled at Härnösand in northern Sweden, where the team works in traditional copper stills using high-quality Swedish ingredients. The result is an artisanal dry gin with an international reputation — Gold at the 2015 International Wine & Spirit Competition in the Boutique Distiller category, Double Gold at San Francisco in 2017 — built on a complex but unfailingly harmonious structure.

The nose is fresh citrus over juniper, coriander and a subtle herbal spice. The palate is full and balanced, citrus fruit meeting warm spice, a soft note of lavender and a hint of sweetness, before an elegant juniper-led finish settles soft and rounded. Pour it into a good tonic with a sprig of rosemary or thyme, or let it carry a Negroni with poise.
