Hendrick’s Gin Neptunia Limited Release

Neptunia is Hendrick's love letter to the sea. Master distiller Lesley Gracie set out to capture the salt air and strange beauty of marine life, layering coastal botanicals over the brand's famous cucumber-and-rose infusion. The result is a maritime twist on a gin already known for going its own way, the local seaside flora lending an unexpected depth to William Grant & Sons' most experimental side.

The nose is mild and floral, earthy notes and citrus mingling with juniper, fennel, liquorice and a breath of coastal plants. The palate turns peppery and tart, rose and cucumber rising through, before a long, light finish runs fresh and dry with cucumber and citrus and the faintest salinity. Pour it into a gin and tonic with a ribbon of cucumber, or stir into a coastal gimlet to let the sea air sing.
