It is bottled at 43% for the global market and serves as the starting point of the Hakushu range.
Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks, the spirit picks up vanilla and toasted oak alongside the distillery's core profile of honey, fresh fruit and citrus. A gentle smokiness and greenhouse herbaceousness round out the finish, with the light bonfire character that is typical of Hakushu kept in proportion and easy-drinking in style.
